If an accountant makes a mistake in your tax return, if we issue a refund?
I had a CPA prepare my taxes. We given the latest information later, but did a good job. However, I received a letter from a state agency saying that a county attorney is not paid. CPA admitted he did not enter the tax paid in state taxes. The property tax is less than $ 500. If the CPA issue a refund for these services? How much?
You must pay the additional interest paid if any, but not the tax itself.
