Does the state of Ohio, transferring CPA exam for the State of Virginia?
I feel my CPA exam and I live in Ohio and I work in WV so I was wondering if Ohio was transferred to transfer WV WV or Ohio?
The CPA exam is now examining a 'uniform'. That means that no matter where you take the exam, be the same. You must sit for the exam in the state where you live or work. Once you have passed the exam, then must obtain a license from that state. Most states now require an examination of ethics after passing the CPA exam. (Do not worry about it, it's easy compared to the CPA exam). Once licensed in one State (eg WV), then apply a reciprocal license in another state. This usually be a formality in which check to ensure they meet their requirements (which are similar in the other you mentioned) and have a license in another state. I guess this is just a neat way of saying to take the exam in any state and obtain a reciprocity in the other. You do not have to take the exam again for the second phase.
